Vaginal laxity, a common yet often overlooked medical condition, poses significant challenges for many women, particularly those who have experienced vaginal childbirth. In this groundbreaking study, researchers evaluated the efficacy and safety of a novel electroporation therapy using the Jett Plasma for Her II device to address vulvovaginal laxity. This multicentric, prospective, randomized, single-blinded, controlled study involving 91 participants revealed substantial improvements in vaginal tightness, sexual function, and symptoms of urinary incontinence. These findings suggest that electroporation therapy not only enhances vaginal mucosa thickness but also offers a promising non-surgical solution for women seeking relief from the multifaceted impacts of vaginal laxity.
